This module emerged experimentally with the goal of interacting with physical and virtual objects simultaneously, stimulating other areas and perceptions, such as touch, anticipation, and memory, with objects that are physically present. We have created two games. The first focuses on the concept of object permanence and anticipation. The second addresses the classic false-belief problem.

These games always require two people. Prior preparation of the environment and a light-colored soccer ball are also necessary. A screen is needed to separate the two areas. For the first game, one or more tables approximately 2 meters long are required. For the second game, three boxes large enough to hold the soccer ball and one or more surfaces to place them on, such as chairs or a table, are needed.

At the beginning of each activity, the required objects should be placed in the physical space, and then the virtual and physical environments can be adjusted to match. The screen or partition wall must align with the vertical black line. As with the other activities, the demonstration videos shown at the beginning of each activity can help you understand how it works.
